Good Morning GiftGiver, BEDGEAR Basic sheets are polyester sheets. BEDGEAR sheets do not actually rely on thread count, as thread-count indicates only the number of threads per square inch of material and doesn't give any indication of feel or breathability. In fact, what many perceive to be "good sheets" have a very high number of squished-together threads per square inch, which makes the fabric of the sheets not very breathable at all! Our Basic sheets are incredibly soft and very breathable, designed to help you get to sleep comfortably, stay asleep, and wake ready for each new day. To wash your sheets, we would recommend a cold water, delicate cycle with a mild detergent. To dry, please use a low-heat setting and avoid washing or drying with any rough fabrics or fabrics with fasteners - denim, jackets, etc. Through Best Buy, we also offer Basic sheets in White.
