Hi, Swan. Yes, this Belkin adapter has been tested to work with the following iPad devices: iPad Pro (12.9") 4th Gen iPad Pro (12.9”) 3rd Gen iPad Pro (11.0") iPad mini 6th Gen

It works with the newest iPad. The plug-in for the newest iPad is different from the plug-in for older iPad versions.
