Yes, this Belkin Mini DisplayPort™ to HDMI® Cable definitely supports 4k resolution.

I used this cable on a Macbook Pro to a 4K Dell Monitor. I had an intermittent problem with the monitor but that did not seem to be related to the cable. I would go for 2 days without any problems using the Belkin Cable to a 4k Monitor. The monitor would shut itself off periodically but was not a cable issue. I missed getting the Samsung 28" monitor from Best Buy and paid $75.00 more ordering it from Amazon as Best Buy sold out that day. I plan on using my Belkin Cable for this monitor which again will be 4K. I used another cable before the Belkin that would not work so wanted a better cable and immediately the Belkin Cable just plugged in and everything worked very good.
