“I have an LG G5 smart phone which uses the Type C connector. I need a charging cable for my car. I know all Type C charging cables are not made the same and some can damage the device if not the correct one. Will this cable be compatible with my G5?”

The lg g5 uses micro USB not usb-c. The lg Nexus 5x is compatible since it uses usb-c

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to purchase this rabbit charger for my G5 S. My jack was a bit loose and I kept losing connection in my car. This double charge cord keeps a snug fit. Problem solved. Couldn't find it at at&t t-mobile store. If this cord doesn't work for you, you can return it.
