“Is this specifically rated for a 49" and larger TV? I was sent a Belkin BV112230-08 with 3996 joules. It is rated for only TVs up to and lower than 46" As I said, mine is 49". If there were a power surge that fried my 49" TV, it would not be covered.”

For as long as your TV does not exceed the maximum electrical rating of the Belkin Surge Protector, then it should work, sfbay. With regard to your case, we recommend that you contact your TV manufacturer to assist you with its required specification.
