“Will this piece work for charging my IPhone while listening to audio videos on my IPhone? I want to be able to hear what I'm looking at on my phone. I'm wanting to charge my phone, while watching and listening to videos or what have you on my phone.”

• Yes. It should work fine. The adapter was designed for just that purpose. To allow simultaneous use of the lightning port for those 2 specific things.
