These are headphones that are for listening to things, such as when using an iPad. They are not standard noise canceling headphones used for autism. My child has autism and we have these ones for use with iPad in the car so he doesn’t annoy us with the sounds from the games but we also have noise canceling ones for use in crowds or at fireworks and such. I hope this answers your question. My autistic child likes theses ones and he’s picky about regular headphones(these are regular headphones)
