Hi. 1) Yes, the Belkin F4U098 is compatible with OS X® and Windows devices that are equipped with Thunderbolt 3 technology. 2) No, you wouldn’t need to do anything other than plugging it to a power outlet and connecting the ThinkPad to the dock as it is a plug and play device.
