• This unit adapts a USB-C / Thunderbolt port to Dual HDMI, USB 3 & 2 ports and a network connection. My MacBook Pro only has two Thunderbolt ports and this unit lets me connect external monitors, USB devices and a wired RJ45 network connection. Hope that helps.
