Yes, this charger will work with any USB rechargeable device and the proper cable.

You may use this car charger with your phone, Jbeanie736. However, you'd need an appropriate USB cable wherein the other end matches your phone's.

No, this product is a USB Type-C. The Type C is mostly for newer phones. For an S5, you'd probably be looking for a micro-USB charger
