• This adapter allow you to continue to use any of your old micro USB cords ( the ones that you used to charge your Galaxy S7, S8), with a new S9 phone. They changed the charging port to a USB- C, so you would have to buy all new cords (not cheap) or buy the adapters and still use your old cords. The adapter are small and a much better value, so I bought 4 of them.
