Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The router will only create a wireless network for you. You have to have a source for your internet- ie cable, dsl. You will need to set that up with your cable or phone company, I recommend cable. You do not need cable TV to have an internet account. The dsl I have had in the past never worked all the time. It was out more than it was on. You can also use a mobile broadband device like Virgin mobile, which is prepaid by the data used or the month. You do not need a router for these devices, as they are their own routers, and run off the service you purchase
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Please clarify 'connected'. Connected to the router or connected to the internet? If laptop to router, I would look at the laptop first at your wireless device management software. If to the Internet, I'd first suspect a router to modem problem. There are things you can check step by step. Are you on cable? Tell me more! Would least suspect the router itself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There could be several things going on. The distance and amount of signal you are getting. If it is too low you will drop or connect and reconnect. Remember that this is shared airspace. Telephones are in both radio spectrums. Other things that are using 2.4Mhz or 5 Ghz can interfere. Microwaves are in the 2.4 Mhz range. I hope this helps.
