• I heat the water in my coffee cup in the microwave!!! I enjoy my coffee hot too! Heat that mug first!

• If it does not produce coffee that hot enough, simply put the cup in the microwave and hit SCALDING HOT.

• Have you tried to use Cold water?. Warm water defeats having a hot cup of coffee. Make sure your coffee maker is properly plugged in.

• Like most drip coffee makers it won't get as hot as wanted. For the price and speed of coffee brewing, it's worth the purchase. My alternative for the best HOT coffee is the old fashioned PYREX glass peculated coffee maker. It retains the heat because it stays on the stove until you consume the last drop. BEST way really!
