“Even though I set the timer for 20 minutes the steamer turns off in 6 minutes.zi have enough water in the reservoir snd the outlet is working fine.why is it turning off.Zthis has happened 3-4 times. Nd I zm getting ftustrated”

That can be caused by overfilling the steamer with food & not spreading the food out evenly, there by, smothering the steam & causing the steamer the food is done before it has actually been 2o minutes. Also check your timer knob for internal damage like a piece of chipped plastic or metal spring that could have gotten knocked out of place that is not allowing the knob to remain in timer position that you set it to.
