QuestionSometimes only two slices need toasting, seems a waste of energy to heat up both elements. Also, heating an element with no load will make it break sooner. Are the elements replaceable?

- Answer Yes it is cool on the outside...But keep your hands away from the inside until is has cooled off. WE have toasted some pretty large rolls and Bread and it came out fine.
