- Answer No, isolation around this small appliance works great. I use it very often and never had any issues with that. Top becomes hot when use it for longer processes but this is normal. I highly recommend this little gem!

- Answer Honestly, I would use a regular oven for a turkey. The knobs on the front would get way to hot, and subject to peeling if subjected to too much heat for a long duration. To answer directly I would say a small turkey that would feed 5-6 people, eatting normal portions.

- Answer I haven't noticed any "excessive" smoke, but this may answer that question... DON'T use the "Air Fryer" setting when baking something that will produce grease (ie: hamburger patties). I did that and it blew grease all over the inside of my oven. I forgot that the air fryer setting acts basically like a convection oven, which blows the heat around the oven to even cook the food; ergo, blowing the grease around as well. I hope this helps!
