It's instant heat. I've never preheated and everything has been great. It is very easy to over cook when preheating. Hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In my experience air fryers pre-heat very quickly in minimal time. Usually if instructions for a given food say 400 degrees for 8 minutes, I simply set the air fryer for that temp and time and the food is cooked as expected.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You just have to add a couple of minutes to your cooking time. You’ll have to use an external timer/reminder. I use my apple watch to time it. I set the temperature, set the cook plus two minutes, set my watch timer for two minutes and then when my watch timer goes off I pull the tray out (which stops the fryer), put the food in and put the tray back, the fryer starts back up and continues until it’s timer is done.
