“I tried to roast. The rod starts to rotate and stops. It is very little weight (about 1/2 lb of chicken breast). It rotates fine without any meat on it. Any truck or adjustments?”

Push the meat to the center of the rotisserie arm and make sure the arm is fully engaged into the area by the control panel. Also make sure that the meat is locked before you get to the smooth offsets for the removal tool.
