It only takes a teaspoon or so but a lot of us who use air fryers use no-stick cooking sprays instead. Promise you that once you've cooked with one you'll wonder how you lived without one. Remember the first time you used a microwave and never ever wanted to be without one afterwards? You'll probably love your air fryer even more than that.

It didn't brown the breaded part. 2nd time I coated lightly with virgin oil & it browned the breaded part perfectly. Use the manual recommendations in book. It helps. Enjoy!
