• Just fill the tank (on rear) with water and run many double shots without coffee until you feel good about it. (No smell/no taste).

• Good question. I doubt it, I looked online and found nothing. The instructions in the manual didn’t work for me. I was able to prime it using a reviewer’s suggestion. Run the double shot about 15 times (wait for it to beep each time). Eventually it will prime. Good luck.
