• I just received mine and yes the black stainless steel matches my appliances. I have LG but I'm pretty sure they are the same color as Samsung.

• No, it is not that dark. It is the silver color of typical stainless steel.

• Yes, this was also my concern, as sometimes companies will use their own proprietary shade of "Black Stainless Steel." Fortunately, the shade of this metal is a perfect match to that of Samsung's appliances. (Definitely not LG's)
