• Wiggle the basket left and right until it finds the groove. It’s latched when the silver facade of the basket and unit are flush.

• No this product has a defective door. The only way to keep it closed is to slam it shut unfortunately.

• I PUT A PIECE OF TAPE ON THE UNIT WHERE THE BOTTOM OF THE FRYER BOWL CLOSES.THIS LIFTS THE BOWL A LITTLE AND MAKES A TIGHT FIT. IT,S A PRODUCT PROBLEM BUT THE PRICE MAKES IT WELL WORTH IT.
