“We’re having a problem getting the fryer to stay on. We turn it on then it shuts off a few minutes later. My husband hasn’t had food in it and I’m wondering if that’s why it’s shutting off.”

Yes, you have to put the food in and program it then it will start once you push the power button. If you turn it on and don't program it to your settings it will power off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your probably using the preheat mode which automatically shuts off in 4 minutes. Hit your lit start button, BYPASS the red button, contact the lit button to it’s right. You’ll be set for 15 minutes at 350. To alter either time or temperature, press up or down when they are lit as many times as necessary to get to the time/temp desired.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.What I usually do is set the time and soon i start cooking it will stop only if I open it. After I closed back it start again I notice if I keep it open for long time i need to set the time again before I start cooking again
