“How long do I press the button for coffee to come out. I find myself having to hold onto the button to get the coffee. Shouldn’t the coffee come out as soon as you press which cup you want?”

You hold the button down until you reach the desired amount. Then clicking it once should produce the same amount that you "pre-set"
