• I had the same problem and tightened the bottom of the jar to activate the connection and it solved the problem. The instruction booklet stated that in the print somewhere after I read it later.

• If the bottle is not screwed on exactly right it wont do anything.the good news is when you screw the bottle on right the light will blink couple times.
