“Obviously, this item has a timer, as shown in the photographs. Who would want an oven that could run so long and high as to cause a fire? Can someone correct the line in the Specifications that says it does not?”

I don't really understand what you're asking or why you'd think it would catch fire. It's extremely handy and is really great quality.
