• Solid modes only for the 8 ft. Multiple lighting modes for the 16 ft version. Just bought both recently for two different TVs. The 16 ft version comes with a remote that has more options over the 8 ft. That's just a simple switch connected to the wire

• Press the Color button repeatedly to change the color combination. There are 20 selectable solid colors, including white. This model does not feature blinking mode.
