Just plug it into your computer’s USB port for a hassle-free connection. This USB hub includes an AC power adapter to provide extra power to connected devices.

For example, an IPAD with a Camera/Lightning adapter connected to a Zoom Audio recorder will need the A/C adapter plugged in due to the high wattage requirements of the Zoom. Other connections may be OK without the A/C Adapter. Try your application without the A/C Adapter. It's nice to know you've got it if you need it.
