Yes. That is why I purchased this particular cord. It was to replace the cord of an older Mini I-Pad.

It will as long as your iPad has a lightning connector and not a 30-pin connector. I’m using this for my iPad Mini 2.

This cable works on most devices that have a Lightning port.
