• I’m not sure I transferred from a 12 pro to a 14 pro quickly and didn’t lose anything. It may work with Samsung but ask the experts at Best Buy first. It was cheep enough to give it a try at $12 and change

• I'm not sure if the iPhone will allow to be mounted on Samsung Galaxy. But another idea could be backing up your photos with Google Photos. Download Google Photos and restore onto the Samsung Galaxy or keep it in the cloud so it won't take up local storage space. You should have a back up of your photos somewhere anyway. These devices can break at anytime. Just know what privacy you're giving up when using Google services.
