Hi, those problems may have existed 2 years ago but as of Aug 2024, no such issues exist. Regarding the KB "going to sleep". It's a passive KB. It cannot go to sleep as a Bluetooth may. Maybe your machine was dosing. I cannot answer to Apple products.
