• I would say yes, I have noticed at times it turns off after I stop using my iMac, but it comes back out effortlessly

• In my experience, this mouse DOES NOT turn off. I will pair it to my computer and use the mouse. If I go away and do not use the mouse for a week, it will always be dead when I try to use it again. I have stopped using the mouse for this reason.
