• Yes it’ll provide some type of protection when closer to the ground. Anything over 4 1/2- 5 ft. might want to check for damage.

• It seems to have your average quality when it comes to drop protection. I’ve dropped it from about four feet with no signs of abuse or damage but it almost slipped out the case so I decided not to try any higher height
