Q: QuestionCan i use this with a mobile hotspot such as a phone to connect it to my PC via an Ethernet cable? Specifically an Android phone.
Asked by Astra.
- A:Answer Not sure why the two previous posters insisted on being so obscure. The simple answer though is no. The adapter for whatever reason only allows data to flow from the Cat5 end towards the USB-C end. So for example, if you plug this into a phone, and the other end into a router. You will get an internet connection on your phone via the router. But it doesn't allow a connection to go the other way, so if you try and use this to tether your phone's internet connection to something else like an Xbox or pc... You're out of luck.
