“Hello. I plan on buying a car security system and front/rear dashcam from Best Buy. Will I have to buy the Total Tech to receive free installation? Or does buying a Geek squad replacement plan suffice? I do not shop at Best Buy often so no bias please.”

You don’t have to buy you can purchase for the installation but it’s probably the same price so if you buy the geek squad total take membership then you installation will be free. I would recommend making sure that it’s the appropriate system for your car. You can look it up by car is it trying to buy it but the total Tech membership will pay for itself just remember your warranty on the purchases is only as good as you have total tech membership which is annual so if you wanna have two years on your new purchase, you need to renew the total tech next year and it’s the same price I believe 199.
