• I bought it specifically for this purpose. It does not fit in the area in my particular dryer. So I guess it depends on the model.

• Although I did use it to clean dust and lint from around our dryer, and it worked fine until I had to stop and empty the dust cup, I did not try it to remove lint from a dryer lint screen slot. However, it does come with a crevice tool, so I think it might work for that purpose. Remember, this is a very small device with a small dust cup.

• I doubt it. I purchased a long, very skinny brush specifically designed to do that job.
