• Yes it has settings on it so it can go all the way to floor for hardwood or raised up for thick carpet!

• Yes, if you mean the brush height above the floor. It has settings for bare floor and four different carpet heights.

• You can adjust the dial for whatever type of flooring you will be vacuuming on but not the height of the vacuum. The handle is one length and is not extendable.
