• A:Answer Great question—when using the BISSELL CrossWave OmniFind on carpet, it’s meant for light area rugs, not deep or wall‑to‑wall carpeting. You’ll want to switch to Rug Area Mode, which releases less water than hard floor mode and uses the rotating brush to gently refresh the rug while picking up debris. The carpet will get slightly damp, but it should dry quickly—it’s not a deep carpet shampooer. For thicker or plush carpet, we recommend using a dedicated carpet cleaner instead.

• A:Answer Yes - it easily works on hard service floors, and area rugs (without fringe or decorative tassels to get caught in the vacuum). I would consider a different machine/model. The suction is disappointing.
