• I personally would not use it in this way. The suction opening would not tolerate hard objects and probably would scratch the smooth surfaces where the water is being pulled. The waste reservoir is not that large.

• I don’t think it would work very well as a vacuum cleaner. The waste bin is made for wet contents and it would be very difficult to empty with only dry waste.

• Not exactly. It only offers suction to remove cleaning solution and water from carpets. It wouldn't pick up other debris as it doesn't have a full vacuum capability.
