Is this okay to use on shag carpet? null

I don't think it would be a good idea. It has rotating brushes that would likely pull & snag shag carpet.

We used with multiple short-shag and no problems. If shag is too long, I don't think you will be happy.

Haven't tried it myself. I would worry about it catching but it does fine with regular carpet.
