• I use this on bare wood, mats, and epoxy floor in the garage. There is a brush off button which I would use on anything that might scratch.

• Yes. I have new LVP floors and I just purchased this stick vac. It has an on handle button to stop the brush from rolling and it hasn’t scratched the floors at all. I am very happy with this vac.
