nope. push power button to turn on and off.

No. Once you press the button it stays on until you press it again to shut it off.

No. There are two on-off buttons. Pressing the main button turns the vacuum and the brush on. Pressing the brush button will turn it off. It can still be used to start the brush again. Pressing the on-off button will then turn the brush and the vacuum off.
