• I picked mine up at Best Buy for around $220 I think.. Its worth it and yes I have a dog and it picks up dog hair... good luck !

• Yes it will definitely pick up dog hair. We have a dog and a cat and it picks up all hair.

• I have 3 cats and it picks up their hair off hardwood and low pile rugs. Works well.

• It picked up cat hair fine from the hard surfaces - it struggles some with the carpeting. We have one cat and typically have to vacuum once a week with an upright dyson to get the remaining hair from the carpets.

• save just a bit more money and buy a roomba. You will be much better off. Mine Bissell only lasted two months and broke. Cheaply built and the programming is terrible.
