How do you clean it properly null

Mine is still new and I haven't cleaned it but according to the book and my daughter who has one the pot will flash at you. You mix vinegar and water and run it in the coffee pot side with the filter and then run several rinses. Then run the same type mixture in 20 oz cup and run several rinses in it.

Can be cleaned with a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water. Put about a half gallon mixture through then run through a half gallon of plain water to rinse out.
