• I use foil in mine all the time. Have not cooked a whole chicken in it yet though.

• Thank you for your question. You should not line any portion of your oven with foil, however, you can use foil to cover your food. When cooking in a countertop oven you can use: metal (including disposable foil pans), ovenproof glass or ceramic bakeware without glass lids. Be sure the food or container is at least 1 inch away from the upper heating elements.
