The connections didn't fit any of the sinks in my condo. So I looked up information on a manual water fill. I used about 5-6 gallons of water to pour into the machine. It does work! However, keep in mind that you will have to fill it again for the rinse cycle. Make a mental note where the water is in the washer, so the next time you can use a hand held shower head to fill it up.
