Yes. I recommend adding a USB thumb drive for local storage if you don't want to pay for cloud storage subscription.

The Blink System, when armed, can record* clips based on motion detection and sends an alert to your compatible IOS, Android or Amazon Fire mobile device. *The Blink Mini, Blink Indoor and Blink Outdoor cameras do require either local storage via the Sync Module 2/USB flash drive and/or a subscription for cloud storage to save recordings. Without a storage option in place you could still access the live view, use two-way audio and receive motion notifications however nothing would record/save.
