Can this camera replace an old XT2? null

Yes it can, however if you are using an external power cord you will need to go from micro USB to type C.

All Blink devices are backwards compatible. As long as you still have your Sync Module, you will be able to add the Outdoor 4th Gen. camera to your existing system.
