“How is this different from inserting a micro usb memory stick directly into the blink indoor or outdoor cameras? A lot more needs to be done, maybe some videos to help people understand this functionality”

If you want to use the local storage option for the Blink Mini, Blink Indoor and Blink Outdoor cameras you would need to use the sync module 2 and compatible USB flash drive, the flash drive would insert into the sync module 2 not the camera(s).
