Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Mizz,No, you do not need a subscription to view recordings from a Blink Mini 2 camera, but it depends on how you store and access them. The Blink Mini 2 does not support free cloud storage for recordings (unlike some older Blink models). Motion clips are not saved to the cloud automatically. However, you can use local storage as an alternative by pairing the camera with a Sync Module 2 (sold separately) and insert a USB flash drive (up to 256 GB). This allows motion clips to save locally to the USB drive. You can then view/play back those recordings in the Blink appHope you have a great day.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a subscription for our cloud storage, but customers are not required to use it. Another storage option is local storage, activated by plugging a USB flash drive into a Sync Module 2 (or a Micro SD card into a Sync Module XR). Local storage has no recurring fee to use the feature. Either of these storage options will let you view clips remotely from your phone. Without a storage system for your clips your system will be able to detect motion, notify you of the motion, and live view.
